Separate description, manner, and degree with the three de particles.
Practice sentences
这不是我的书。
This is not my book.
Put 的 between the owner and the thing.
他跑得很快。
He runs very fast.
得 sits after the verb and before the description of how.
她认真地学习。
She studies diligently.
地 links an adjective/adverb to the following verb.
他一边听，一边写。
He writes while listening.
The second action follows the second 一边.
