Time and Location Order

Keep time before actions and use 在 with real locations.

Jīntiān wǎnshang wǒ zài jiā.

Tonight I am at home.

地铁站在右边。

Dìtiě zhàn zài yòubian.

The subway station is on the right.

Place time words like 今天, 明天, and 现在 before the verb phrase.

我今天学习中文。

I study Chinese today.

Time usually comes before the verb.

明天见。

See you tomorrow.

Use 明天 for tomorrow.

现在我们走吧。

Let's go now.

Use 现在 for now.

我还在等你呢。

I'm still waiting for you.

还在 + verb shows you're still doing the action.
