When to use 想X之所想,急X之所急 for “Put Their Needs First”
想X之所想,急X之所急 is a fixed pair of four-character phrases from literary Chinese. 所想 means “what someone thinks of or wants”, 所急 means “what someone is worried about”, and 之 works like 的. So 想学生之所想 is “think about what students are thinking about”, and 急学生之所急 is “feel anxious about what students are anxious about”. Together they praise someone who sees things from other people’s side and treats their problems as urgent.

Kesalahan umum
- Use the same X in both halves: 想学生之所想,急学生之所急, not 想学生之所想,急老师之所急.
- It is formal praise. In a chat with friends, 为你着想 or 替你想 sounds more natural.
- Don’t add 的: 想顾客之所想, not 想顾客之所想的 or 想顾客的所想.
