When to use 没什么/有什么 + Verb + 头儿 for “Not Worth Doing”
头儿 (said with a light, neutral tone: tour) can turn a one-syllable verb into a noun meaning “something worth doing”: 看头儿 is “something worth seeing”, 听头儿 “something worth hearing”, 玩头儿 “fun to be had”. Put 没什么 in front to say there is not much worth doing: 没什么看头儿 “not really worth watching”. Put 有什么 in front and ask it as a question to say the same thing more strongly: 有什么看头儿? “What’s there to see?” The expected answer is “nothing”.
