When to use Never Again with 再也不 and 再也没
再也 + a negative means “never again, not any more”, and it goes right before the verb. Use 再也不 for a decision or a state from now on, often with 了 at the end: 我再也不吃了. Use 再也没(有) for the past, to say something stopped after a certain point and never happened again: 他再也没来过.
那家饭馆的菜太难吃了,我再也不去了。
The food at that restaurant was awful; I’m never going back.
我保证,以后再也不玩手机到半夜了。
I promise I’ll never stay up on my phone till midnight again.

Since he learned to swim, he’s no longer afraid of water.
那次以后,她再也没生过病。
After that, she never got sick again.
