若干 and 人次 for “Several” and “Person-Times”

若干 is a quantity pronoun meaning “a certain number of, several”, when the exact number doesn’t matter or isn’t given. It belongs to formal writing: reports, rules, school notices, news.

  • Don’t put a measure word after 一些: 一些条建议 is wrong, 若干条建议 is fine.
