When to use 与... for Formal “With”
与 + person/thing goes before the verb or adjective and names the partner of the action: 与王老师联系 (contact Mr. Wang), 与新同学见面 (meet the new students). It is also very common in fixed frames: 与……有关 (be related to), 与……相比 (compared with), 与……不同/一样 (different from / the same as). The meaning is the same as 跟, but 与 sounds more formal, so you will see it on signs, in school notices and in written reports.
有什么问题,请与王老师联系。
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Wang.

- 与 marks a partner (with someone), not a target of feelings: use 对于 or 对 for opinions and attitudes.
- Keep the frame together: 与……有关, 与……相比, 与……不同.
