Others name a point in time: 八点 (eight o’clock), 八点十分 (8:10), 五号 (the fifth of the month), 二〇二六年 (the year 2026). 日 means the same as 号 but is used in writing.

Kesalahan umum
- Don’t put 个 before 天 or 年: 三天, 两年, not 三个天.
- 小时 and 月 need 个 for an amount: 两个小时, 三个月 (一月 means January).
- Use 分 in clock times and 分钟 for how long: 八点十分, but 十分钟.
