รูปแบบประโยค
verb + 什么(+ noun)+(就)是 + 什么(+ noun)
This pattern means “whatever is (done, said, given), that is how it will be.” The speaker accepts the result and will not choose or change it: 你点什么就是什么 means “whatever you order is fine.”
你点什么就是什么,我都可以。
When to use Verb + 什么(就)是什么 for “Whatever It Is, That’s It”
The first 什么 follows a verb (点什么, 有什么, 说什么) and the second follows 是. The meaning is: whatever the first part turns out to be, that is the result, and nobody will change it. It shows easy acceptance (你点什么就是什么,我都可以) or that someone’s word is final (他说什么就是什么). 就 is often there but can be left out in short sentences.
家里有什么就是什么,你别客气。
We’ll just have whatever there is at home, so don’t be polite about it.
他是队长,他说什么就是什么。
He’s the captain; what he says goes.
抽到什么题目就是什么题目,不能换。
Whatever topic you draw is your topic; you can’t swap.
分到什么任务就是什么任务,大家都要认真完成。
Whatever task you are given is your task, and everyone must do it carefully.
ข้อผิดพลาดที่พบบ่อย
- Use the same question word in both halves: 说哪儿就是哪儿, not 说哪儿就是什么.
- 是 here does not mean “is” in a description; it means “that’s what it will be,” so the result is final.
- Don’t mix it up with 想吃什么就吃什么, which offers a free choice instead of accepting a result.
