When to use Starting from a Point with 从……起
从……起 means “starting from” a point in time and says that something begins then and continues afterwards. Put the time word between 从 and 起, and place the phrase at the start of the sentence or right after the subject: 从明天起,我每天早上跑步。 It means the same as 从……开始 but sounds a little more formal, so notices and rules often use it.

- The second word is 起, not 起来: 从今天起, not 从今天起来.
- Put 从……起 before the verb, not at the end of the sentence: 我从明天起每天跑步, not 我每天跑步从明天起.
