常见错误
更 must precede the adjective or verb it modifies; do not place it after. Incorrect: 好更 (hǎo gèng). Correct: 更好 (gèng hǎo).

Add 更 or 还 before the adjective in a 比 sentence to say B already has the quality and A has even more of it; 还 adds a note of surprise.
Argue from a strong case to a weaker one in formal Chinese with 尚且……，何况……: 大人尚且搬不动这个箱子，何况小孩子呢？
Name an extreme case with 连……都/也……, then use 更 to say the point is even more true for someone or something else.
Make the obvious case follow from a surprising one with 更不用说……了: 这个字连老师都不认识，更不用说我们了.
