When to use Saying “For Someone” with 对……来说

对……来说 means “for someone” or “as far as someone is concerned”. Put a person or group between 对 and 来说 and put the phrase at the start of the sentence, followed by a comma: 对我来说,汉字最难。 It tells the listener whose situation the rest of the sentence describes, usually what is easy, hard, important or new for that person.
