...,好... and ...,以便... for “So That”
Add a second clause with 好 or 以便 to say what the first action makes possible.
Pattern
action,(subject +) 好 + verb; action,以便 + (subject +) verb
Both mean “so that” or “in order to”: the first clause is what you do, the second is what it makes easier. 好 is spoken and sits right before the verb; 以便 is formal and starts the second clause.
你把电话号码给我,我好跟你联系。
When to use ...,好... and ...,以便... for “So That”
Say the action first. Then add a second clause that tells the goal: what the action makes possible or easier. In this pattern 好 does not mean “good”; it means “so that … can.”

请大家说慢一点儿,我好记下来。

Common traps
- 好 must follow the subject of its clause: 我好跟你联系, not 好我跟你联系.
- 以便 is followed by a goal you want; for something you want to avoid, use 以免.
- 好 and 以便 introduce the second clause; don’t open a sentence with them the way you can with 为了.
