When to use 一边...一边...
Repeat 一边 before both actions when they overlap. It works best when one subject is doing two things in the same moment.
我们一边吃饭，一边聊天。
We chat while eating.
他一边听，一边写。
He writes while listening.
妈妈一边做饭，一边打电话。
Mom cooks while talking on the phone.
我一边走路，一边想问题。
I think about the problem while walking.
Common traps
- Use 一...就... for immediate sequence, not simultaneous actions.
- Do not use 一边 for actions that happen one after another.
- Repeat 一边 for the clearest structure.
