Show a result leading to a deeper or later result.

When to use Progression with 进而

进而 links one result to a further development. The second result is usually a step beyond the first, not just a repeated consequence.

After the system improved, service quality was further improved.

Research deepened, further forming a new theory.

团队合作更顺畅，进而降低了成本。

Team cooperation became smoother, further lowering costs.
