When to use Treating Something As with 把...当作
当作 and 看作 both mean treating or seeing something as something else. 把 makes the object being reinterpreted clear.

不要把沉默看作同意。
Do not treat silence as agreement.

Common traps
- 当作 is often more concrete; 看作 can sound more analytical.
